We are in beautiful Tokyo at maybe the most magical time of the year, the beginning of Spring when the Cherry Blossoms bloom.
It’s a sign that after a really rough winter there better days to come. It is a time of optimism and this photograph shot at Shinjuku Gyoen Park in Tokyo made me feel especially optimistic for my passionate pursuit of photography.

Survived Day 2 of the Republican National Convention. Here’s my take on yesterday. More tomorrow!
I don’t have really any time to post. Shoot all day, edit all night and sleep in-between. But since a picture can be worth a considerable number of words…here’s a bunch from the first day of the RNC Convention in Cleveland, Ohio in the USA. It’s a gallery so click on the arrows to view. It is a tough shoot. When you’re at an event with 15,000 of your fellow journalists (covering 4,000 delegates) it’s obviously a tight squeeze reminiscent of trying to squeeze into a packed subway car during peak New York City rush hour, only everybody’s got a camera.
